Currently in the funding and planning stages, the Wendelboe Boutique Hotel represents the adaptive reuse of a historic mercantile and former office building into a distinctive hospitality destination in downtown Warren, Pennsylvania. The project blends boutique accommodations with residential units, banquet facilities, and a full-service restaurant, creating a vibrant mixed-use anchor within the district.

A defining element of the design is the grand entrance, carefully aligned with the building’s historic fenestration to preserve its architectural character while establishing a welcoming sense of arrival. Inside, the program is organized to support fluid connections between the hotel, its dining spaces, and a future adjacent banquet venue that is part of the broader redevelopment vision.

The Wendelboe project contributes to a larger master plan that includes restaurants, apartments, and event spaces, positioning the building as a central player in the revitalization of the surrounding neighborhood.
