Six & Kane Building Renovation

The renovated Six & Kane building is a vibrant mixed-use space that brings together a smoothie bar, the Chamber of Commerce, a law firm, an economic incubator, the WPPSEF office, and flexible community meeting rooms.

This forward-thinking project achieved Passive House EnerPHit Plus Certification, becoming the first EnerPHit Plus office building in North America. Despite being a renovation, Six & Kane surpasses the rigorous standards typically reserved for new Passive House Plus construction—demonstrating that sustainability and heritage can coexist beautifully.

Recognized for its commitment to responsible sourcing, the project received the 2024 Leadership Award from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) for its use of 100% locally sourced and milled FSC-certified hardwood maple flooring, trim, stairs, handrails, and custom cabinetry.
